Key Responsibilities (FOCUSED ON MANAGEMENT AND SERVICES)

  • Responsible for deploying and overseeing cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and CloudFront.
  • Ensure deployment of all necessary vulnerability fixes, code changes, major upgrades, and modifications to cloud infrastructure.
  • Manage patches and software updates for both Linux servers and AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Address security vulnerabilities and DISA STIG issues within defined SLAs.
  • Conduct annual IT Contingency Plan training, testing, and exercises, focusing on backup, disaster recovery, and application recovery. Assist with application recovery during downtime within specified RTO requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the India-based team to troubleshoot and resolve web application issues.
  • Perform continuous monitoring activities, including AWS hardware inventory, POA&M Sheet, and key rotation, to maintain compliance.
  • Facilitate coordination for the yearly audit with the relevant agency.
  • Following background verification will be performed for the individuals once every 10 years:
    • National Agency Check with Local Agency Checks and Credit Check (NACLC)
      • National Agency Check: Completion of a National Agency Check.
      • Financial Review: Verification of the subject's financial status, including credit bureau checks covering all locations where the subject has resided, been employed, or attended school for six months or more for the past seven years.
      • Date and Place of Birth: Corroboration of date and place of birth through a check of appropriate documentation, if not completed in any previous investigation; a check of Bureau of Vital Statistics records when any discrepancy is found to exist.
      • Local Agency Checks: As a minimum, all investigations will include checks of law enforcement agencies having jurisdiction where the subject has lived, worked, and/or attended school within the last five years, and, if applicable, of the appropriate agency for any identified arrests within the last five years.

Rewards and Compensation

  • Must be a United States Citizen based on government regulations
  • Salary is between $58/hour to $69/hour
