Enterprise Client Service Vice President

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Enterprise Home Office Client Service team. This pivotal role involves managing high-level relationships with Enterprise clients and overseeing a dedicated team of associates. The ideal candidate will excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment, providing top-tier, white-glove service and drive client success across all transaction phases. This individual will work cross-functionally with multiple CAIS teams to streamline and improve existing processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to directly impact client relationships and contribute to the growth and success of a dynamic firm in the alternative investment space. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and nurture relationships with National and Regional Enterprise accounts, including direct interaction with Home Office contacts 
  • Gain deep expertise in the CAIS platform and investment products to effectively support and guide clients 
  • Drive successful outcomes for new and existing enterprise clients by promptly processing their requests, answering ad-hoc questions, and by proactively guiding them through the entire transaction process (subscription documents, transfers, capital calls, AML/KYC, redemptions, managing fund closings) 
  • Oversee communications on various Fund updates and related nuances; ensuring alignment with Enterprise Home Office contacts ahead of wider network communication 
  • Collaborate with various teams including Enterprise Business Development & Coverage, Marketing, Investments, Operations, Product and Technology to improve service delivery, platform functionality, and to maintain alignment on new fund launch details 
  • Conduct platform demonstrations, highlighting new platform features and workflows for clients 
  • Ensure consistent documentation of all client interactions including next steps, follow-ups, etc., and escalate key insights and takeaways with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment 
  • Serve as subject matter expert for new client onboards and showcase the expertise of the Client Service team and how we support our clients 
  • Develop new processes to further automate client workflows and create a seamless experience 
  • Oversee and develop a small team of employees, fostering a collaborative work environment, providing ongoing feedback and coaching, and driving professional growth through tailored development plans and performance evaluations 
  • Additional responsibilities will be determined based on capacity, skill, and interest 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or a related discipline 
  • 5+ years of client service, product management or investment operations experience at a fund or financial services firm 
  • FINRA Registrations Series 7, 63 required 
  • Experience in alternative investments required
  • Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM programs
  • Exemplary oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

CAIS’ compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $140,000-$180,000. Actual compensation is influenced by many factors including skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
