The role ✨
Stuart UK is seeking a driven and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, this role is critical in driving lead generation and supporting our sales pipeline. As a BDR, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients within our Enterprise and Mid Market segments, collaborating closely with the sales and marketing teams to generate qualified opportunities and contribute to our overall growth.
The team currently comprises of four Account Executives operating predominantly in the Enterprise and Mid Market segments. You will be the only BDR on the team, working directly with AEs to generate pipeline from outbound activity, as well as qualifying inbound leads from marketing and partnerships.
What will I be doing? 🤔
- Conduct targeted outbound lead generation to support the sales team’s growth in mid-market and enterprise segments
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the target segment's challenges, goals, and decision-making processes to tailor outreach effectively
- Work with Account Executives to map accounts and identify key decision-makers
- Prospect into target accounts using outbound tools, campaigns, and events, setting up meetings with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Meet monthly targets for generating qualified opportunities for Account Executives
- Maintain accurate CRM records for effective sales follow-up
What do we need from you? 😎
- 2-3 years of experience in outbound lead generation, ideally within B2B SaaS or logistics industries, with a proven track record of success in mid-market and enterprise segments
- Strong experience in account mapping and engaging multiple stakeholders to identify key decision-makers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
- Target-driven, highly motivated, and well-organised, with strong attention to detail
