What We Need

Stride is excited to bring on an Account Executive responsible for driving new business for Stride Funding’s new Employer Sales product. A Stride AE will be comfortable navigating sophisticated organizations and demonstrate outstanding sales prowess and discipline. The right person for this role will be a self-starter who knows how to move deals through the sales funnel, tailoring their sales approach to the potential buyer’s needs, and evangelizing the Stride solution in a compelling yet approachable way. Account Executives will measure success by attaining assigned quota, forecasting accuracy, and the growth of accounts in your region. 

What You'll Do

  • Conduct meetings with relevant prospects, articulating the value proposition of Stride in a sophisticated, compelling, personalized and empathetic way. 
  • Prepare extensively for meetings and conduct thorough and useful follow up. 
  • Shepherd deals from first meeting through close. Identify stakeholders, decision-makers, influencers and champions, and thread the deal appropriately through the prospect’s organization. 
  • Create and update sales proposals. Create urgency for deals and use innovative tactics to keep deals warm. 
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline while maintaining outstanding CRM hygiene and providing accurate forecasts.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and call review sessions, pursuing continuous improvement.
  • Build relationships with key targets in defined territory, nurturing deals over time.
  • Use appropriate social media channels to build personal brand among key prospects and influencers
  • Collaborate with channel partners as necessary
  • Consistently meet and strive to exceed ambitious sales goals 

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years with a demonstrated track record of winning new business in healthcare or HR Tech
  • High sales drive with a “right fit” sales mentality
  • Consistent and proven delivery of attaining quota targets and maintaining a healthy pipeline
  • Proficiency with key sales tools: CRM, Fathom, LinkedIn etc
  • Strong executive presence and great verbal and communication skills with prior experience selling directly to and ability to influence C-level executives
  • Passionate about forecast accuracy and sales hygiene
  • Dedicated follow up skills that allow nothing to fall through the cracks
  • Ability to use data, research and thought leadership to make the business case for a deal
  • Self-Starter; Independent, flexible and adaptable. Thrives in a startup environment.  
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Ability to travel up to 25% 
  • Experience focusing on relationships with people leaders in the healthcare industry would be ideal but not required.
