Codefresh (Acquired by Octopus Deploy) is on the lookout for a highly motivated and experienced Software Team Lead to join our talented R&D group and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge product.


In this role, you will:

  • Manage day-to-day operations, including sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and technical designs, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and motivation within your team to continuously enhance the Codefresh product, all while maintaining our high-quality standards and agile principles.
  • Collaborate closely with company leadership, product managers, and designers to architect, prioritize, and iterate over product functionality, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Recruit and mentor top-tier engineers and team leads to strengthen the Codefresh core SaaS Product team.
  • Drive innovation and provide a clear technological strategy to guide your team towards success.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a software development role, demonstrating proficiency in various technologies.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience leading software development teams, with a proven ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js, Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud technologies, and SaaS Product development.
  • Strong track record of hiring and managing engineering talent within a fast-paced, dynamic B2B SaaS environment.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with Agile and Lean product development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

👋🏼Initial chat [30 min]
Talent acquisition screen: Meet with your Talent Acquisition team and get a feel for what it would be like to be an Octonaut!

💻Technical assessment [60–90 min]
Technical assessment: Designed to showcase your skill set, we give you in-house exercises to gauge your professional scope and expertise.

🧑‍💻Hiring manager chat [45–60 min]
Hiring manager chat: Designated time to chat with the hiring manager. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other. You should expect the hiring manager to ask questions about your professional background and goals. We welcome any questions you may have for us!

🎉Panel interview [60–90 min]
Final round chat: In this final round call, you meet cross-functional team members. You can expect a mix of leaders and individual contributors to join the chat. By the end of this call, you should have a great idea of what it’s like to work at Octopus. We should also have a great idea of what it would be like to have you on the team! We’ll ask any final questions and encourage you to do the same.
