The Role and Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a team of 3 (cloud) engineers, (and potentially another full-stack team of 6 full-stack engineers), ensuring efficient team operations and project delivery. This includes recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and providing career development opportunities for team members.
• Help the team with prioritisation. Assisted in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the team adopted best practices in software engineering.
• Oversee project timelines and deliverables. Ensure resources are allocated efficiently and projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Work closely with other departments to improve cross-functional workflows and communication.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organisation, including providing regular updates on team progress, project challenges, and technological advancements.
• Oversee the utilisation of modern platforms and technologies, ensuring they are leveraged effectively to maximise the value the engineering teams deliver.

Our Tech Stack:
Familiarity with React, Next.js, TypeScript, GraphQL. Javascript/Typescript knowledge is a must since all our codebase is that.
Familiarity with AWS (or other cloud providers), Gitlab, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, CI/CD processes
Familiarity with automated testing tools like Playwright, Postman
