About the Role:
As an Engineering Manager for the Manage Team, you will play a strategic leadership role, managing a team of engineers focused on delivering robust, enterprise-level solutions. You will be responsible for guiding the team in building scalable and secure products, particularly in the .NET and Identity space, ensuring that the technical strategy aligns with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers, fostering an environment of collaboration and excellence. Handle team leadership, resource allocation, performance evaluation, and continuous development of team members.
- Project Planning & Execution: Define project scopes, set goals, and establish timelines for project completion. Efficiently manage resources and track progress to ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met on time.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with product, Design, and leadership teams to define and execute the technical roadmap for enterprise-grade solutions, focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security protocols.
- Technology Integration: Leverage expertise in technologies such as .NET, Keycloak, Auth0, OKTA, ADFS, OIDC, and RBAC systems to design and implement secure, scalable solutions.
- Identity and Security Management: Drive the implementation of robust IAM solutions, including Single Sign-On (SSO), authentication, and authorization strategies.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve processes within the engineering team to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall quality.
- Design and Architecture: Oversee the design and architecture of identity and access management frameworks, ensuring they are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Goal Setting & Performance Tracking: Establish clear goals and KPIs for the team, regularly track and review progress to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on leading technical teams in a high-growth, agile environment.
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing and scaling engineering teams working on enterprise-grade products.
- Technical Acumen: In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, .NET technologies, Identity Management solutions, and modern software architectures.
- Identity & Security Expertise: Strong experience with Keycloak, Auth0, OKTA, ADFS, OIDC, and RBAC systems. Ability to design and implement secure identity and access management solutions.
- Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality projects on time.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
