The role
As the Engineering Manager for Becool you will be based in Pemulwuy and lead our current development team in shaping the future of logistics and transport. You'll be responsible for analyzing requirements, designing solution architectures, and ensuring efficient software production. What you’ll do
- Manage and develop a team of three highly skilled developers
- Develop quality assurance procedures and documentation for proprietary systems
- Agile methodology and systems architecture will drive team efficiency and maintain integration processes.
- Design and implement best practice CI/CD pipelines, leveraging AWS cloud hosting environments, and developing API architectures.
- Maintaining and upgrading existing systems, while also training users and participating in on-call support arrangements.
- Audit current environments and code to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Write efficient code and translate operational requirements into technical solutions
- Train users and participate in on-call support arrangements
- Prioritize workload to maximize team performance and efficiency
- Collaborate closely with end-users and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions
What you’ll bring
- Experience working in ideally a similar industry
- Experience of managing and coaching a team
- A tertiary degree in relevant field such as computer science
- Experience with Amazon AWS, MySQL, and Redis
- Proficiency in PHP7, VueJS, Apache, and Linux (Ubuntu/Amazon Linux
