As an engineering manager, you will be both a technical and a disciplinary leader. You will make decisions that affect the sub-system level for technical aspects while ensuring that your team delivers their work in a timely, cost-effective, and high-quality manner.
Your mission during this flight:
- You lead a team of flight mechanics, performance, handling qualities, and noise experts to ensure delivery of analysis and test evaluations in time/cost/quality
- You ensure that the flight simulator device is developed to support the aircraft certification process
- You provide technical and disciplinary leadership to team members with your expertise in the field of flight physics
- You lead the team in optimizations for final product configuration definitions
- You plan and manage team capacity according to project needs
- You provide day-to-day guidance, coaching & feedback to the team
- You provide an inspiring technical and disciplinary leadership to the team
- You collaborate closely with other teams and Head of Departments to guarantee best results
Check in your professional skills:
- You have an MSc, PhD or equivalent degree in Aerospace or equivalent experience
- You have a minimum of 7 years of professional experience in (preferably rotorcraft) Flight Physics - Flight Mechanics / Handling qualities / Performance
- You have a proven track record in team management
- You have experience in utilizing analysis and flight simulator for the development and certification of an aircraft
- You have experience in aircraft development cycles and certification processes according to CS23/25/27/29
- You apply a structured and transparent way of working
- You speak fluently English
