As an Engineering Manager for Dropbox Paper, you’ll thrive in our team if you love chasing impact, working through ambiguity, and developing a culture of innovation. In this role, you’ll lead a team of 5-10 engineers, leveraging your robust managerial toolbox to drive direct business and customer impact independently. You’ll work closely with your direct reports, cross-functional partners, and other teams to build the future of Dropbox. Responsibilities

Rebuild key services, infrastructure, and components in the Dropbox Paper application, in support of the Paper modernization roadmap

Support the operations of Dropbox Paper, and deliver a high-quality customer experience
- Drive results by identifying impactful opportunities and ensuring long-term growth and customer impact

Requirements

BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics) or equivalent technical experience

of people management experience with an engineering team
- Minimum of 5 year as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience
Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading and managing platform and product teams
- Experience working across timezones and matrix style management
Compensation
Dropbox applies increased tax deductible costs (50%) to remuneration earned by certain qualifying employees (to the extent an employee will be involved in the creation of the software as an “author”) for the transfer of copyrights, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Personal Income Tax Act.
