We're Celonis, the global leader in Process Mining technology and one of the world's fastest-growing SaaS firms. We believe there is a massive opportunity to unlock productivity by placing data and intelligence at the core of business processes - and for that, we need you to join us.
The Team:
We’re building a new engineering team to drive the productization of a super exciting innovation project with a lasting impact: the Collaborative Business Execution Network. The purpose of the project (short “CBEN”) is to extend Celonis’ process observability beyond company boundaries. It allows for companies to share their data with their business partners and augment their own data. This opens up new opportunities for process improvement across value chains with multiple companies involved.
Are you an Engineering Manager ready to take CBEN from a successful beta phase to a full product offering and lead this new team of engineers in our Madrid location?
The Role:
As an Engineering Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the CBEN team to execute their mission of productization, managing the careers of the team members and their performance, and actively fostering successful group dynamics to help the team accomplish its mission.
Engineering Managers ensure that their teams have a manageable level of technical complexity and that they are working collaboratively with adjacent teams. They also jointly define goals/OKRs with other stakeholders that contribute to larger strategic efforts.
Engineering Managers work largely independently on defining the scope and impact of their team, and their leadership influence should be evident across multiple groups in addition to their own. When working closely with related teams, they should help support the team health and objectives of those related teams as well as their own.
Engineering Managers at this level possess the technical judgment and decision-making expected of Software Engineers at any level, often making technical contributions that have a direct impact on the team's mission.
As the manager of the CBEN team, you will have a chance to directly contribute to technical components through technical design, design review, code review, or (optionally) coding yourselves.
