We are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Logistician in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).The Engineering Logistician is responsible for managing and supporting various logistics engineering tasks such as submitting weekly activity reports and managing updates to the Log Engineering Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).This role will support Bill of Materials, data cleansing, and item validation tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Upload the Bill of Materials (BOM) into the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) Logistics Management Information (LMI) Staging Area 
  • Perform data cleansing/DEPLOY scrubs (e.g., errors for Next Higher Assemblies (NHAs), missing fail factors, Unit of Measure/Unit of Issue (UM/UI)), and add or delete Provisioning Line-Item Sequence Numbers (PLISNs) and validate the Staging Area 
  • Select National Stock Numbers (NSN) returned from the Federal Logistics Information Service (FLIS) screening process and submit a new NSN request for components requiring NSNs 
  • Build Provisioning List Item Sequence Number (PLISN) records outside the standard quarterly Government updates 
  • Prepare and submit Supply System Requests (SSRs) within the LMP system to ensure application against NSNs in order to be added on as a user of the part for management (forecasting and consumption) by Item Managers. 
  • Attend provisioning conferences and provide provisioning information required, take record of identified

Qualifications

  • Secret Security Clearance 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or ten years specialized experience may be substituted for the education requirement.  
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in provisioning of US Army material.  
  • Experience in developing logistics products and delivering the data necessary to complete provisioning, National Stock Number (NSN) Assignment, developing provisioning master records and bill of material (BOM).  
  • Experience utilizing System Applications and Products (SAP) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools such as the Logistics Management Program (LMP), Utilizing Powerlog J. 
  • Able to upload and build a provision master record. 
  • Experience in executing a DEPLOY.
