- Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and implement the strategic vision and goals for the Engineering CoE across various disciplines of modern application development.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and methodologies for engineering projects.
Technology & Innovation:
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to enhance the company's technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative solutions.
Client Engagement:
- Partner with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance during client engagements, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in engineering, providing thought leadership and strategic insights.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Develop training programs and initiatives to upskill team members and promote professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in enterprise application development, cloud native application development etc.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex engineering projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
