The Engineer will serve as a key contributor, providing technical oversight and support for aircraft testing and evaluation programs focused on avionics and structural modifications. This position involves developing and executing Test and Evaluation Master Plans, ensuring thorough documentation, and maintaining high standards of technical integrity throughout the testing process. The Engineer will collaborate closely with military and contractor teams to facilitate successful testing outcomes and ensure that all modifications meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Test and Evaluation Master Plans and technical documentation.
- Oversee integration of avionics and mechanical systems, addressing technical challenges.
- Participate in systems engineering efforts, drafting relevant plans and conducting audits.
- Collaborate with military and contractor teams to coordinate testing activities.
Requirements
Required Experience:
- 5+ years in engineering roles, particularly in aerospace or defense industries.
- Knowledge of military test processes and documentation standards.
- Active Secret Clearance
Desired Experience:
- Familiarity with risk management and systems engineering methodologies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
