Technical Competencies:
- Excellent applied skills in multi-physics simulation, modelling, and requirements management. Including or equivalent to IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management tools [DOORS NEXT, Workflow and Test management and Rhapsody], MATLAB, Simulink and Simscape, Siemens Capital software and ANSYS, COMSOL
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, MATLAB, or similar for simulation automation and data analysis.
- Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA) techniques.
- Familiarity with high-performance computing (HPC) clusters and parallel processing for large-scale simulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, specifically in the context of electrical systems
Education:
- Degree level or equivalent in a STEM or adjacent discipline
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in simulation and modelling engineering, with a focus on complex systems in aerospace or related industries.
- Proven expertise in utilising simulation software for fluid dynamics, thermal analysis, and structural simulations.
- Experience in developing and validating digital twins or complex simulation models for real-world application.
- Experience in liquid hydrogen handling and simulation highly desired.
- Experience in relevant technology development [TRL3-6] project environments highly desired
