As a Mid Test Automation Engineer specializing in Python and Selenium, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will lead the development and implementation of automated test scripts using Python and Selenium, contributing to the enhancement of our testing processes and frameworks.

Responsibilities
Develop, troubleshoot, debug and make application enhancements and create automation framework leveraging Python/Pyspark, Selenium, SQL as the core development languages
Develop and build scalable automation frameworks and test suites working across technologies.
Develop documents and maintain test plans, procedures and scripts and perform well defined product level integration tests.
Implement execute and debug automated test scripts using various technologies and tools.
Perform manual testing, the scope of which will encompass all functionalities of services as prequel to automation
Work closely with other quality and development engineers to build, evolve and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipeline.
Deploy application components using CI/CD pipelines
Build utilities for monitoring and automating repetitive functions
Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams - internal and external clients including Operations, Infrastructure, Tech Ops
Research and evaluate a variety of software products and development tools.
Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues such as code reviews, testing and software documentation as required.
Write complex, maintainable code to develop scalable, flexible and user-friendly applications, using backend Java and front-end JavaScript, Oracle and Python
Leverage multiple first- and third-party data sources and develop highly efficient data access RESTful APIs against data stored Relational databases
Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
5-7 years of applicable experience working with Selenium Automation, Bigdata, Pyspark, and Oracle Technologies including support functions
Expertise testing all layers of web application, including front end, Services and backend - testing
Hands on experience in Test Automation, Creating Automation framework, API microservice automation.
Strong technical skill in Selenium, TestNG, Python, SQL and JAVA.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and best practices.
Must have strong experience in Selenium UI Automation frameworks.
Familiarity with Continuous integration and Continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Indepth knowledge on QA methodologies, life cycle and processes.
Strong understanding of REST/HTTPS/SOAP and JSON.
Good to have experience on retail Domain.
Experience with implementing continuous integration and delivery concepts (CI/CD) using Jenkins.
Strong object-oriented design and coding skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface across cross-functional technology teams and the business
Software development experience using Oracle, Python programming
Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
Proficient with git and git workflows
Working knowledge of databases and SQL
Expertise with configuration management tools (GIT), configuration concepts, and continuous integration tools (Jenkins / Bamboo)
Experience in agile software development practices
Strong fundamentals in front and back-end object-oriented programming, including proficiency in Javascript
Experience designing and developing front-end UIs
Familiarity integrating Restful APIs and an understanding of microservices architecture
Experience working with relational databases
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
