The site spans 1,200+ acres and the first phase of development will have 4.7 million square feet of floor space consisting of a cluster of semiconductor manufacturing buildings such as a fab, office, parking garage, central utility building, and special utility supply facilities. The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance computing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Specific Job Duties: Perform yield improvement, new device transfers, and systems setups related to wafer processing. Conduct semiconductor engineering process monitoring, adjustments, and qualifications in a high-speed, high-throughput manufacturing environment. Implement and support electronics engineering process improvements with documentation. Perform change point management task sets, disposition lots, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Conduct equipment and process matching projects to support new device vertical ramps. Conduct module of the process flow, including investigating quality issues, improving process margins, and maintaining high level of process control. Produce defect-free high quality ultrathin films and tightly controlled thermal processes for Logic Devices using state-of-the-art single wafer and batch level tool types. Configure new processes and production recipes. Perform Process transfer and setup on of new device. Interface with vendor representatives on process issues, including particle performance. Provide guidance, communication, and oversee consistency to the engineering group on procedures and best practices. Oversee process control and adjustment of equipment to support production and quality goals. (Multiple Openings)

Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required 

Minimum Requirement: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the Job offered or in a related occupation.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools

Requires 24 months of experience involving the following:
1. Defect monitoring, characterization, and root cause analysis;
2. Data Analysis: JMP, Spotfire, or Genesis;
3. Yield Analysis Skills: SPC, 5-Why, 8D, FMEA, or DMAIC;
4. Tool Ownership: SPC monitoring, Post Maintenance Verifications, Cpk enhancement, or OEE improvement; and
5. Scripting Language: SQL, PHP, or Python.
