ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting advanced materials characterization and analysis to support both Manufacturing Operations and R&D initiatives.
- Additionally, this role requires the ability to learn to develop automation solutions and data analytics tools to streamline lab processes and enhance data interpretation.
- The successful candidate will work closely with Process Development Teams to integrate and correlate process outputs with characterization data, fostering a holistic understanding of material behavior and performance.
- Good technical acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to communicate technical information sufficiently are essential for this position.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science/Engineering or Physics, including fresh graduates
- Understanding of material properties, phase diagrams, and microstructural analysis, ability to connect material properties with process parameters and outcomes
- Basic understanding of Materials Characterization for example: FIB/SEM, TEM, EDX -- Experience in FIB is great advantage.
PREFERRED:
- Basic understanding of statistical methods, including DoE and regression analysis.
SKILLS:
- Capable of communicating in English, good communication skills for effective teamwork and presentation, problem-solving, and critical thinking
- Programming and Scripting: Knowledge of Python and/or SQL is a plus
