Engine Technical Leader

In the role of Engine Technical Leader, you will be responsible of leading the development of various systems and subsystem from a certain perimeter of the engine (air intake, exhaust, distribution, moving parts), your main activities including: 

• Interpret and analyze technical documents in both French and English, ensuring clear understanding and actionable insights.
• Provide expertise in the automotive sector, with a particular focus on the development of thermal and hybrid engine components, including: air intake, exhaust, distribution, moving parts etc.
• Conduct and lead development activities for automotive components following the client processes, including:
  • D2Q methodologies
  • Development logic and validation methods
  • Incident management processes
  • Product and process modification workflows during series production

• Exhibit strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms, particularly in English, for activities such as:

  • Meeting facilitation and leadership
  • Writing technical reports, summaries, and standard documentation (e.g., capitalized files, synthesis notes, and standards).
• Adapt quickly to agile workflows, ensuring effective collaboration and iterative development in cross-functional teams.

• Extensive experience in automotive engineering with a specialization in powertrain systems (thermal and hybrid).
• Strong leadership abilities to guide development teams and coordinate complex projects.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written, French is a plus.
• Ability to construct relevant synthesis for the impacted stakeholders. 
• Know-how of PLM tools (NPDM, CatiaV6).
