A partner firm is seeking an Engagement Support Services Specialist in Southfield, MI. This role focuses on supporting various teams across multiple practices within the firm, including audit, tax, consulting, and wealth management. The specialist will work in a service-oriented team environment, ensuring accurate, timely, and quality-driven service. The position offers flexibility with a primarily in-person model.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to internal clients with a service-focused mindset and attention to detail.
  • Route and process client requests, review peer work, and manage completion processes.
  • Collaborate with in-office and remote staff across domestic and international time zones.
  • Partner with engagement teams to clarify inquiries and set clear expectations for task processing.
  • Research and implement solutions to issues; escalate unresolved or complex problems.
  • Assist with specialized projects, including reporting, data research, and process design.
  • Participate in continuous learning, complete training, and enhance task training resources.

Requirements

  • 0-1 year of customer service experience or relevant coursework.
  • High School Diploma required; college coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related fields preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word; Adobe Acrobat experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to proofread for accuracy.
  • Adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work in a team setting and provide support to peers.
  • Some overtime and weekend work required.
