Employee Experience - Intern

Our HR team is looking for an intern who is interested in development in the HR sphere.

The HR Intern will join NielsenIQ Portugal HR team and will support the Employee Experience team in the management of daily processes and development of guidelines based on HR data insights.

 

Overview of tasks:

  • Welcoming new joiners/ pre-boarding and onboarding support
  • Handle administrative tasks related to the full employee lifecycle (joiners and leavers, job changes, probation periods, ...)
  • Manage and monitor administrative documents and deadlines (contracts, addendum, documents, certificates, onboarding paper, etc.) according to the labor law and internal policies
  • Answering employees’ queries about HR topics and policies
  • Legal questionnaires for Authorities
  • Employees Time Tracking and Absence Management (e.g. time offs, leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Support the monthly pre-payroll with all the relevant Employees’ information

 

Requirements and skills:

  • Organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize deadlines
  • Phone, email and in-person communication skills
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Knowledge of local labor law
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)

 

Preference:

  • Experience/study in HR Administration
  • Experience/interest in HR software, like HRIS or HRMS

Additional Information 

This is a full time role based in Lisbon offering a hybrid working mode combining working from home, office and visiting clients.
