Primary Function of Position:

We’re looking for a strategic and creative employee communications expert to help us build and develop communication initiatives for key business priorities in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). In this role, you’ll be a strategist and trusted advisor to executives and internal clients to develop and implement employee communications plans from the ground up. You will join a highly collaborative international communications team, reporting to a U.S.-based Director of Employee Communications.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Build, develop and manage the execution of employee communications strategies supporting our EMEA region.
- Assess, develop, and deliver employee communications strategies supporting multiple functions and audiences with diverse needs, including sales (commercial), manufacturing operations, and corporate functions (human resources, workplace services, etc.); own major site/campus communications.
- Serve as an employee communications strategist and advisor to senior executives, leaders, and cross-functional partners.
- Collaborate with colleagues across a variety of roles and levels and manage agency/contractor resources to ensure seamless implementation.
- Create and manage content for a range of People Experience communications channels including intranet sites, digital signage, newsletters, email, and more; ensure a consistent pipeline of compelling content aligned with Intuitive brand standards.
- Plan, communicate, and execute internal meetings and events including all-hands, Q&A sessions, and other employee engagements.
- Manage the production of a variety of written, visual, and multimedia communications including executive messaging, presentations, organizational announcements, employee features, customer testimonials, photography, videos, and more.
- Considered a regional expert, partner with global communications, people brand, and inclusion & diversity teams to share and leverage content, channels, and forums.
- Translate (English, German) and localize corporate communications messaging; work with colleagues to manage other language translations.
- Create and measure employee communications strategy effectiveness and impact on business objectives.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration, graphic or multimedia design, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience building and executing internal communications strategies in a complex and multinational corporate environment; experience managing teams and/or agencies and contractors.
- Experience working in/with a U.S.-based or international corporation.
- Deep experience consulting with and influencing executives and senior leaders.
- Outstanding content creation abilities with a strong emphasis on writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and German language skills.
- Proven experience in building new communication programs from the ground up.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced and matrixed corporate environments, solid project management skills.
- Comfortable working with an international team and manager located in other time zones.
- Graphic design, photography, and/or video editing skills a plus.
