Emissions Engineer / Specialist

We are looking for early/mid careers individuals who are innovative thinkers to join our growing team with a goal of supporting our clients to minimise their Greenhouse Gas emissions. Requirements

You will be part of a team of world class emissions specialists focussing on helping our clients to manage and report their emissions reduction ambitions. Our team deliver services such as offshore exhaust stack sampling, ESOS compliance, Energy Assessments, Emissions Reduction Action Plans, Methane Action Plans and several innovative software solutions.

Do you have some of the following?

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar)

  • A technical background with an understanding of process / chemical / mechanical engineering, process control and process safety

  • A passion for emissions management and reduction

  • The aptitude to quickly understand new processes, interpret and analyse data, make sound engineering judgements
  • The ability to engage with clients and build professional working relationships
  • Provide technical input to commercial proposals
  • Experience working in an offshore environment including the confidence to speak to asset personnel at all levels

  • Broad understanding of emissions including process emissions sources, types of emissions etc

  • The ability to interpret proposed and enacted legislation and regulator guidance, translating it into application of expertise to assist clients

  • An understanding of the energy industry landscape and energy transition drivers and technologies e.g., CCUS, power from shore, renewables etc.

  • An understanding of PID control, compressor anti-surge control and loop tuning

  • Experience of operations support and brownfield modifications

  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to take large amounts of information / data, extract the value from it and convey a concise message
