EMEA Compensation & Benefits Manager

We are thrilled to announce an opening for an EMEA Total Rewards Business Partner to join our Verisk team in Krakow!

Position overview:

This position is responsible for the development, management, and implementation of regional and country-specific Total Rewards strategies, policies, and processes. The goal is to ensure that global plans are effectively adapted to meet local needs while maintaining alignment with global Total Rewards principles. The role also involves optimizing processes, managing vendor relationships, and developing customized solutions for region-specific requirements.

Key Activities:

  • Lead the deployment of Total Rewards solutions, collaborating closely with multi-regional and global leaders, as well as country/Business Unit HR Business Partners across EMEA.
  • Oversee a wide range of Total Rewards programs, including compensation (e.g., base pay, incentives, recognition, career frameworks) and benefits (e.g., health, retirement, well-being, and absence management).
  • Continually assess and ensure the competitiveness and compliance of all total rewards programs and practices.
  • Ensure compliance and rigor in controls and governance; oversee end-to-end processes to optimize the employee experience and drive efficiency.
  • Actively manage and monitor total reward program financials and utilization to ensure they are operating as desired and on budget.
  • Manipulate and analyze large data sets to distill insights and convey findings.
  • Develop functional requirements to design or improve upon total rewards related plans and processes; create and deliver associated training including tools and templates for regional/country application
  • Act as the primary liaison for Total Rewards subject matter experts, HR stakeholders, HR Operations, and third-party providers to ensure deployment of solutions
  • Participate in and oversee the delivery of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Communication of reward strategy outcomes in written and oral formats.

  • Lead teams, develop program plans, identify and mitigate risk
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to queries in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to analyze situations, generate alternatives and make sound recommendations to management

Key Experience & Skills:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree.
  • Progressive experience as a Total Rewards Expert, with a strong background in regional role.
  • Advanced knowledge of total rewards practices, and familiarity with the regulatory environments across countries in EMEA.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills,  with a collaborative approach and a proactive mindset in problem-solving.
  • Advanced qualitative, quantitative, analytical and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the strategic analysis and development of benefits and compensation plans within a globally matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rewards plans and program administration methods.
  • Experience in managing and implementing benefits strategy for the region,  bulilding relations with vendors and supporting negotiations.
