Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong full stack skills for our IoT SaaS platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing the IoT solutions including Wifi HaLow, LoRa, and backend infrastructure that powers our innovative SaaS solutions. The role is remote and located anywhere in the U.S.  Must be willing to work early morning hours for overlap with India based teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement API specifications.
• Work with Node.js for server-side development and React for occasional frontend tasks.
• Leverage AWS services to architect and deploy scalable solutions.
• Optimize backend processes for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and implement database solutions, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
• Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Hands on experience with IoT platforms like TheThings or AWS IoT.
• Must have direct experience with LoRa IoT communication protocols and SDKs
• Nice to have knowledge of Wifi HaLow
• Proficiency in C/C++ and JavaScript
• Experience with Node.js for server-side development
• Familiar with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Skill with both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
