Embedded Corporate Security Operations Lead and Project Manager

Control Risks is looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager as a part of an embedded project with a top tier client of ours in the pharmaceuticals industry. This role will be acting as the Central Operations Lead as part of the Corporate Security function for a period of eight (8) months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the execution of the service delivery and performance strategy of Corporate Security business operations.
  • Provide leadership & management to Corporate Security’s Business Operations teams contributing across Corporate Security globally ensuring execution of programmes that protect and enable the client in line with business objectives. 
  • Coordinate Corporate Security strategic objectives, ensuring all operations are aligned to business strategies and priorities, the security and investigations risk and control framework, and the Corporate Security roadmap. Deliver coordination of Corporate Security activities enabling optimal alignment of resources to risk.
  • Lead on internal capability development initiatives, as associated with the HumanRisks platform launch.
  • Oversee and deliver the Corporate Security technology strategy and roadmap in close partnership with Legal Operations.
  • Maintain key stakeholder relationships, internal and external (to include security, law enforcement, government agencies and other private sector counterparts).

 

Additionally, the project manager will support the client in overseeing the implementation and use of its new security risk assessment platform:

  • Assist in design and implementation of Human Risks both regionally and globally.
  • Support the seamless integration of the platform into business processes.
  • Oversee the initial and ongoing training of designated key-users.
  • Identify opportunities to scale the platform to incorporate additional functionalities for the business.
  • Foster knowledge and understanding of the platform across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • This role must have a strong understanding of Corporate Security procedures, risk management methodologies, investigation, incident management, crisis & continuity management, operational security threat management, business/security intelligence and security tech.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and presentation skills are required to support all levels of client leadership with reliable and meaningful information to enable fact-based business decisions
  • Strong leadership experience as well as extensive project management experience.
  • The individual must be able to work on matrix teams to identify and address a variety of challenges with global security threat and risk management.
