ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a strategic, hands-on, Email Marketing Specialist to take Aero’s email program to new heights. This role is an opportunity to shape how we connect with our discerning travelers, crafting compelling campaigns that drive engagement, loyalty, and revenue.
Reporting to Aero’s Head of Marketing, the Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing and optimizing email campaigns that engage our community of current and potential guests while supporting broader business goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, extremely detail oriented, and confident in making decisions that enhance Aero’s email marketing performance without needing specific direction.
Beyond execution, this person will play a key role in shaping Aero’s content strategy. They will work closely with the marketing team to develop the content calendar, ensuring email campaigns align with broader brand initiatives and key business moments. This role will also have the support of a copywriter to ensure every communication is compelling, on-brand, and aligned with Aero’s voice.
Additionally, the Email Marketing Specialist will manage our automated email campaigns designed to nurture potential guests toward booking and encourage repeat purchases from current guests. This candidate will need to have experience and knowledge to ensure that tracking of all email related event triggers is maintained and actively working. They will collaborate across departments to support internal and external email marketing needs, working closely with Aero’s development team to optimize transactional and system-triggered emails, ensuring seamless communication throughout the customer journey. They will also partner with our concierge and experience teams to develop guest engagement emails that elevate the travel experience, ensuring our guests receive thoughtful and personalized communications at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute targeted email campaigns that enhance engagement and conversion.
Oversee list segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analytics to refine strategy.
Design and code responsive email templates that align with Aero’s brand identity.
Manage and optimize automated email journeys to nurture prospective guests and drive repeat bookings.
Actively participate in content planning, collaborating with the marketing team to determine what goes on the content calendar and the timing for execution.
Continuously analyze data and customer insights to improve email content, frequency, and targeting.
Work alongside a copywriter to ensure email communications are polished, brand-aligned, and engaging.
Manage deliverability and compliance with email marketing best practices.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in DTC email marketing, preferably in luxury travel / hospitality.
Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Iterable, Klaviyo, HubSpot) and HTML / CSS for email coding.
Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing and performance tracking.
Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and make data-driven decisions independently.
Experience managing automated email flows and lifecycle marketing campaigns including setting and testing event triggers.
Knowledge of segmentation strategies and CRM integration.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Experience working cross-functionally with development and customer-facing teams.
Passion for aviation, luxury travel, and high-touch guest experiences.
Benefits & Pay
Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 [annual salary] in Los Angeles, CA [exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.]
