We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Email Marketing Manager to take ownership of our global email marketing efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping our email marketing strategy, designing efficient workflows, ensuring we use the best tools available, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns that drive business impact.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the global email marketing strategy:
- Establish a cohesive email marketing strategy across all products, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Identify key opportunities to enhance customer engagement and retention through innovative email campaigns.
- Define measurable goals and KPIs for email marketing success.
- Process design and optimization:
- Create clear, scalable email marketing workflows to manage campaign planning, execution, testing, and reporting.
- Ensure a smooth process between strategic planning and campaign execution by establishing standardized processes and timelines.
- Tool and vendor management:
- Assess and select email marketing platforms and tools that best meet global business needs.
- Lead negotiations in cooperation with procurement department with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure optimal cost management.
- Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies, integrating innovative solutions to enhance performance and capabilities.
- Campaign management and execution:
- Work closely with product teams, content creators, and business stakeholders to create high-impact email campaigns tailored to specific customer segments.
- Design audience segmentation strategies to deliver personalized and relevant messaging.
- Oversee the execution of campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Monitor and improve campaign performance:
- Analyze email marketing data to track campaign effectiveness against KPIs (e.g., open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI).
- Conduct A/B testing to refine subject lines, content, visuals, and CTAs.
- Provide actionable insights to continuously improve strategy, content, and execution.
- Ensure legal and compliance standards:
- Maintain compliance with global email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR) and internal data protection policies.
- Monitor trends in email marketing and ensure strategies stay ahead of industry benchmarks.
- Cross-functional collaboration:
- Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to align email campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure visually appealing and on-brand email content.
- Serve as a bridge between technical and business teams, ensuring seamless campaign execution.
- 5+ years proven experience in email marketing, preferably in the IT or entertainment industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build and implement successful global email marketing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of email marketing tools and platforms, with experience negotiating vendor contracts.
- Expertise in audience segmentation, A/B testing, and data analysis.
- Knowledge of email marketing regulations and best practices.
- Proficient using marketing automation technology.
- Knowledge of latest digital marketing trends.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with business, product, and marketing teams.
- Fluency in English.
