MAXISIQ is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer with a strong background in Windows server environments, Active Directory, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and scripting to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Quantico, Virginia supporting work anticipated to start in October upon award.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows server infrastructure and Active Directory environment
- Implement and support multi-factor authentication solutions across the organization
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administration tasks
- Troubleshoot complex system and network issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
- Assist in documenting IT processes and maintaining system documentation
Required Skills:
- Active Top Secret clearance minimum
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in systems engineering or IT administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory
- Experience implementing and managing MFA solutions
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server administration
- Experience with MFA technologies (e.g., Azure AD MFA, Duo, RSA SecurID)
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skill
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles
- Familiarity with ITIL practices
- Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
