MAXISIQ is seeking a talented Software Developer with a a strong background in high-level programming languages and a proven track record of testing and refining computer software and applications to join our innovative team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Quantico, Virginia supporting work anticipated to start in October upon award. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the development of robust, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software applications using high-level programming languages
- Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and system testing
- Refine and optimize existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's technical growth
Required Skills:
- Active Top Secret clearance minimum
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in high-level programming languages such as C#, .Net and Blazer.
- Extensive experience with software testing methodologies and tools
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
