at Empowerment’s Lower Elementary Campus to work with our First Graders.
This is for an immediate vacancy. You must hold a Sub Certificate issued by the NJDOE in order to apply.
Base Salary: $35,500 - $45,500
Potential Earnings: $39,600-$49,600 after Bonuses and Stipends.
Hours: 7:45am-3:45pm

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
We generally seek the same qualities in assistant teachers that we seek in lead teachers. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. (Exceptions may be made for candidates presently enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts program who are scheduled to receive their degree within the next 24 months.) It is a bonus if candidates possess a NJ Department of Education CE, CEAS or Standard Elementary School Teacher License. At a minimum, TAs must hold their Sub Certificate.
It is also important to have good communications skills, basic administrative skills, and to be a team player who possesses maturity, a strong work ethic, and a whatever-it-takes to help children attitude.
