The AoPS Academy in Santa Clara, California is hiring part-time Elementary Instructors. We are looking for professionals with strong math, writing, and humanities backgrounds to teach our engaging Math and Language Arts curriculum to small classes of high-achieving elementary students.
Our instructors contribute greatly to the success of our students and are an integral part of our Academy family. This may be a great fit for you if you enjoy facilitating discussions in a collaborative and engaging student-led classroom, building relationships with students, and making a direct impact on how they learn and approach math and language arts.
Our math classes challenge students to tackle difficult problems that are not replicas of problems they've already seen. This teaches students how to learn, so they'll be ready for the challenges of top-tier colleges and internationally competitive careers.
Language Arts classes challenge students to approach a variety of problem solving scenarios within different language arts contexts such as a spellbound fantasy island, Greek mythology, American history, and unsolved mysteries.
