About the Role:
We are currently rolling out thousands of sensors across the UK, Europe and beyond, and seeking a passionate Electronics/Systems Engineer to join our team. This role will have the opportunity to develop and deliver cutting-edge technology on projects that help deliver a societal benefit, while internally working alongside a world leading AI research team.
You will have a key role in maintaining our new sensor hardware and developing new features as we roll out new sensors to the latest generation of GPU accelerated edge processing hardware. You will be able to see the results of your work deployed across thousands of locations in the UK and around the world.

Responsibilities for the Role:
- To manage and maintain the ongoing development of our custom PCBs, handling for example: Development of new features, EoL components, component supply chain shortages, product scope change, and general performance improvements and issue resolutions
- To manage and update the firmware on our sensors
- To develop future hardware solutions that build upon our latest generation of sensors
Requirements for the Role:
- 2 years experience in electrical or systems engineering, following a technical degree
- Experience with working on multilayer pcb designs
- Experience writing in embedded C and experience with MCUs and STM32
- Experience contributing to, or managing research and development projects
- Genuine passion for engineering and technology
- Thrives in flat, less structured start-up environments
- Strong communication skills, particularly when working cross-functionally and with clients to understand requirements
The following would further strengthen your application:
- Experience in software scripting languages
- Familiarity of Nvidia Jetson Modules
- Familiarity with KiCAD
- Familiarity with linux/ubuntu and compiling a kernel
- Knowledge or experience with international certification testing of electrical and radio devices for CE/FCC/IC/RCM
