The Electrician exists to primarily install and repair complex electrical needs, plan and implement smooth electrical systems, prepare Redline drawings for conduit route, prepare BOQ for electrical works (boxes, accessories, accessories, panel boards, wires and cable), and ensure that executing all conduiting and electrical wiring based on the Philippine Electrical Code and local building Standards.
The Electrician also Coordinates and oversees contracted work with the contractor, providing specific instructions and/or help on projects, inspecting completed work for acceptance and compliance with company standard and ensuring that all documentation is updated.
Knowledge, skills, and qualifications
- Basic and standardized installation and rectification of all electrical works assigned to the Team
- Able to work on field across multiple sites
- Has sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with customers, suppliers and partners
- Performs Circuit Analysis and Troubleshooting for all electrical layout completed
- Can perform testing and interpret results gathered from the site
- Provides solutions and RCA based on gathered data
- RME or EIM NC2 passer
- Driver’s license
Preferred:
- Experience working as an electrician in the telecommunications industry
- Adapt and perform FOT skills as needed
Duties and responsibilities
- Plans, prepares, installs, inspects, maintains, repairs, implements passive and active electrical needs on-site
- Responsible for maintaining an inventory of issued tools in his team and ensuring that all tools are in good condition, as well as reporting the status of damaged or missing tools on a regular basis with justification.
- Coordinates and oversees contracted work with the contractor, providing specific instructions and/or help on projects, inspecting completed work for acceptance and compliance with company standards, testing and accepting completed contractor work, and ensuring that documentation is updated using Airtable.
- Completing the technical day-to-day operations including servicing trouble calls (NOC On-call).
- Report the complete and daily work in progress on a daily basis
- Performs and documents all test related to the electrical systems
- Attend project kick off and walk thru to have proper endorsement to the Building admin/ Maintenance/ Engineer and be aware of the house rules implemented on site
- Conduct assessment of electrical safety programs and identify corrective actions as needed.
- Promote and participate in periodic safety meetings for addressing job-related electrical safety issues.
- Escalate and discuss possible solutions to issues observed on-site
- Acts as the Main POC / PIC for all electrical works
