CleanSpark is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrican to support our bitcoin mining operations by designing, implementing, and maintaining low voltage (under 600V) systems essential to our infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with the operations and IT teams to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems, while maintaining energy efficiency and safety standards in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities

Design and Implementation: Develop and execute designs for low voltage electrical systems (under 600V) including wiring, control panels, and power distribution systems for bitcoin mining infrastructure.

System Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot existing low voltage systems to ensure uninterrupted operations of mining facilities and associated data centers.

Energy Efficiency: Collaborate with operations teams to optimize low voltage electrical systems for energy efficiency and cost savings, aligned with CleanSpark’s commitment to sustainable energy practices.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all low voltage installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes (e.g., NEC), as well as company safety standards and protocols.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT specialists, and site operations personnel, to ensure integrated system performance.

Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, technical documentation, and maintenance logs for all low voltage systems.

Upgrades and Improvements: Recommend system upgrades and improvements based on analysis of system performance and industry best practices.

Emergency Response: Provide support during power outages, system failures, or other critical issues to quickly restore operations.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent related field experience.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in low voltage electrical systems. Experience in the cryptocurrency or bitcoin mining industry is a plus.

Technical Skills:
- Proficient in designing and managing low voltage systems (AC/DC).
- Familiarity with control panels, PLC systems, and data center power systems.
- Experience with CAD software for electrical schematics and designs.
- Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA standards.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
