A few years ago, we brought the construction of our advertising sites in house. Since then, the team have been successful in delivering hundreds of site builds, including our newest digital units, billboards and large installations.

We're now seeking an experienced Electrical IPC Manager to play a pivotal role in our rapidly growing street furniture estate, leading our ICP (Independent Connection Provider) accreditation and on-going connection management.

What will you be doing?

You will contribute to the planning, execution, and successful closure of projects within the construction portfolio. Your leadership skills and in-depth knowledge will be instrumental in driving the success of our projects. The role will support our goal to become ICP accredited by Q2 2025. Reporting to the Head of Health & Safety you will be taking the company through the NERS accreditation from start to finish.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements for the accreditation.
  • Lead in executing new supplies, connection and disconnection tasks and activities according to our build plan.
  • Regularly communicate project status, risks, and issues to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Implement risk management strategies and contingency plans for all matters related to our electrical activities.
  • Implement and enforce project management methodologies and quality standards throughout the project management team

Knowledge, Experience and Attributes:

  • You need a minimum of HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the construction industry, specifically in Electrical projects.
  • A strong electrical background in the DNO, IDNO or ICP industry
  • Experience with installation or project management of electrical infrastructure up to 11 kV to NERS requirements.
  • You must also have a comprehensive knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and compliance on construction sites.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the highways or related industries such as utility networks.
