About The Role

Humane's Electrical Engineering Team works cross-functionally with software, product design, industrial design, program management, and operations to deliver successful products to market. As an Electrical Engineering Intern on the team, you will support product development from concept to mass production.

What You Might Do

  • Architect and design electrical subsystems and test platforms (prototyping, schematic capture, and layout)
  • Plan validation of your designs: lead functional verification, signal characterization, power consumption testing, and system coexistence testing
  • Bring your design to mass production by setting factory test requirements, developing factory test fixtures and platforms, assisting in software bring up.

Essential Qualifications 

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar
  • Experience with analog electronics, digital electronics, and/or embedded systems
  • Experience working with lab equipment for hands-on prototyping, design, debug, and/or power analysis
  • Familiarity with schematics and circuit boards

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to learn on the job
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
  • Experience developing automated test scripts and tools (Python, Labview, etc)
  • A desire to work in a collaborative environment where honesty and accountability are paramount
  • Ability to drive tasks independently and escalate and communicate issues and needs clearly

Salary Range: $45-$48/per hour
