We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team for a Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Plant project. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems associated with the solar plant. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, PV technology, and project management to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the solar power systems.
Key Responsibilities

Design and Development:
- Develop electrical design specifications and schematics for PV solar plant systems, including inverters, transformers, and wiring layouts.
- Perform load calculations and system analysis to optimize system performance.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Installation and Commissioning:
- Oversee the installation of electrical systems and components, including panels, wiring, and control systems.
- Supervise electrical contractors and ensure that installations meet design specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure proper operation of electrical systems.

Maintenance and Optimization:
- Monitor and maintain electrical systems to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules and address any issues or malfunctions.
- Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate electrical systems into the overall project plan.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources related to electrical engineering tasks.

- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to mitigate potential hazards.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulations.

- Provide technical support and guidance to the installation and maintenance teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues that arise during installation and operation.
- Develop and implement solutions to technical challenges.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of design changes, system performance, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare and submit reports on project progress, system performance, and compliance.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

Experience: electrical engineering, with specific experience in PV solar systems mandatory
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions and adhere to safety standards.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Relevant certifications or training in solar technology and electrical systems are advantageous.
