- Create detailed drawings such as single-line diagrams, cable routing diagrams, and electrical installation plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Collaborate with the Lead Electrical Engineer to integrate project specifications into technical drawings.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and electrical Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Assist in the creation of load calculations and product sizing analyses.
- Participate in design meetings and provide technical support in drawing and documentation.
- College diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Previous experience as an electrical design technician or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD; knowledge of electrical-specific software is a plus.
- Understanding of relevant electrical standards and codes (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code - CEC).
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
