Our client, a global leader of medical device manufacturing solutions are looking for an Electrical Build Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Build Technician, you will report directly to the Machine Build Coordinator or selected department leader. Work will be concentrated on electrical panel build & field wiring of automated equipment for the manufacture of life saving medical devices for discerning multinational clients.
Responsiblities include but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret electrical/pneumatic drawings and schematics.
- Complete the Panel Build Assembly, Panel Wiring and Field Wiring systems.
- Responsible for the build quality of each project.
- Assist with the completion of key project milestones, power up, set up tasks such as IO Checks, Safety Resetting, Safety checks and all Quality checks.
- Develop an understanding of the key project milestones and of what it takes to ensure the completion of each stage is done as it should be ,Test, troubleshoot, debug, and validate equipment performance, compliance to applicable standards and technical specifications.
- Complete all required documentation.
- Inspect drawings for clarity and liaise with electrical design engineers.
- Complete assigned work within agreed timelines and quality targets.
- Contribute to the cleanliness, order, and housekeeping of the workshop.
- Provide accurate duration and effort estimates for planned builds.
