· Responsible for inspecting and monitoring of the Electrical & Instrumentation systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring and ensure they comply with E&I components. Visits the plant, performs inspection, and makes recommendations for improvement.
Responsibilities / Duties
· Ensure the reliability of Durrah’s electrical and Instrumentation equipment and systems.
· Inspect and maintain the 34.5 kV /13.8 kV Indoor substation,12 MW Alternator, and other electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, motors, VFD’s, MCCs, etc.) of the power and process plant.
· Identify, analyse, and offer solutions to address the system needs of the plant. Spare Part request for E, I and HVAC systems.
· Generate daily/weekly reports for the operation and maintenance of E, I and HVAC system equipment in the plant.
· Examine and maintain the plant's HVAC system and implement PM and PdM.
· Inspect and maintain the instrumentation equipment (Valves, sensors, pneumatic systems, swatches, HMI screens, etc.) of the process plant. Develop an oil and chiller water analysis program and recommend corrections.
· Ensure compliance with safety requirements and standards procedures. Lead and advise the work of contractors.
· Monitoring, review and inspection of all major activities and progress of the E&I works.
· Interface with engineering, planning, and procurement as well as other disciplines.
· Manage implementation of PM, PdM activities with high performance.
· Measure and monitor electrical equipment conditions, analyze trends, and identify the needs for electrical maintenance considering production constraints.
· Examine maintenance records to identify any issues, then document your findings in reports.
· Establish and continually improve PdM & PM program that includes vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound and motor circuit evaluation for the facility. Supply technical assistance to constantly improve (OEE)
· Ensure all critical equipment and utility systems have effective PdM and PM programs in place.
· Interpret and understand all levels of drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications, etc.
· Create and improve PdM & PM procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Instrument engineering preferred.
· Saudi Nationality
· Sound understanding of PdM/ PM techniques and PdM/PM experience preferred.
· Must have acceptable safety, attendance and work records and Ability to effectively train others in PdM/PM practices.
· Proficient in computer applications including MS, Outlook, SAP, TESTO etc. And working knowledge of OSHA and National Electric Codes Strong troubleshooting skills and logic to solve problems to root cause.
· Proactive and self-motivated to work effectively with minimal supervision.
· Good written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization
· Ability to make decisions under time constraints and tight deadlines.
· Able to lead and interact with other associates in a team-oriented environment
Experience
· A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience (management & technical) in PdM, PM, maintenance, engineering, process control and reliability in a manufacturing facility.
· Experience using Testo, AutoCAD and MS Office is required.
· Prefer knowledge in BMS.
· Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) SAP preferably.
