The EEG Technician measures and records impulse frequencies and differences in electrical potential between various areas of the brain to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of brain disorders. The EEG technician also uses a variety of non-invasive modalities to evaluate nerve conduction and evoked potential responses. These procedures are performed according to hospital and department policy, and are ordered and interpreted by qualified physicians.
