Key Tasks and Responsibilities
As part of the Technology, Engineering and Quality Directorate, you will have the following responsibilities:
Provide expertise in the field of Passive Components, Discrete Semiconductors forRF and non-RF, Complex Microcircuits for Digital, Analog, Mixed Signal andMicrowave, Hybrid Technology, Micropackaging, Optoelectronics and Micro-/Nano-Systems;
Carry out Failure Analysis tasks and other analysis tasks as required;
Prepare reports on the analysis tasks as required;
Support and advice concerning the performance of analysis tasks sub-contractedto external laboratories;
Provide related technical support on EEE components to ESA projects and otherD/TEC divisions in the area of hybrid technology;
Provide technical assistance in the definition and to the management of ESATechnology programmes in the field of hybrid technology;
Provide technical input to the formulation, review and maintenance of thetechnical standards and specifications relating to the evaluation and capabilityapproval of hybrid manufacturers;
Provide technical assistance in the formulation and monitoring of CapabilityApproval programmes for hybrid manufacturers;
Support ISO certification activities.
Skills & Experience
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related specialization;
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional work experience;
Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is anadvantage.
