We are reaching a busy time in our sales cycle so we are looking for an enthusiastic Education Sales Support Representative to join the time on a flexible casual basis. We want you to help us by reaching out to our current customers to coordinate customer engagement in the form of training and sales renewal meetings. We also need your help connecting with new schools (prospective customers) to tell them about Mathspace / book meetings for our sales team.

What will you do?

  • Utilise our database (we use Hubspot) to work through queues of customer contacts at different stages to ensure they get the best customer experience and/or support by booking training, onboarding and implementation meetings on behalf of the sales team
  • Engage with current customers at key lifecycle stages to book renewal and year-in-review meetings
  • Contact potential and existing customers to arrange meetings with the sales team
  • Enter and update customer information in the database
  • Utilise our suite of tools such as Slack (for communication), Hubspot (for customer records), Google Calendar (for bookings) to be successful and provide consistent support to the sales team
  • Keep detailed records of calls and sales and note useful information on CRMs
  • Collaborate with sales team to inform outreach strategy
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Mathspace product and our offering, key features, and our sales cycle

Requirements

Should you be selected for an interview, which will include a working-interview portion, successful candidates will demonstrate:

    • Ability to learn about software and educational learning products and services and describe/explain them to customers and prospects
    • Excellent knowledge and demonstration of business level English
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Available to work at minimum 5 hrs for 3 days per week. More hours are welcome to team members who excel
    • Cool-tempered yet ambitious, and able to handle rejection and overcome objections
    • Ability to travel to our Surry Hills (Sydney) HQ for 3x shifts per week

You will find the following very helpful (although not required)

  • Previous experience working in any kind of sales or  customer service or customer support role
  • Experience with Hubspot or similar database or CRM entry
