The Role in detail
As we expand our footprint in the education sector, we are looking for an Education Sales expert to join our team, focusing on Education Sales within the West Territory.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in building new relationships with educational institutions in the West Territory and driving revenue growth. Leveraging your combined expertise in inside sales and field sales, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and nurturing leads, as well as managing existing accounts.
Additionally, you will collaborate with channel partners to develop joint sales strategies and expand Airtame's reach in the education market. This role will require approximately 70% remote work and 30% travel within the designated territory.
Responsibilities
Identifying and pursuing new customers (this is the main part of the role).
Qualify new leads through proactive prospecting efforts, including partner engagement, email outreach, and networking events.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Education sector in the West Territory.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline within a specific region in the EDU vertical (K12 & HiEd).
Work with our Channel Managers to increase channel revenue and add resellers to your geography.
Meet or exceed personal revenue targets.
Supervise numerous accounts concurrently & strategically grow them.
Create compelling value propositions for Airtame services for EDU Customers and Channel Partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including IT administrators, educators, and department heads, within educational institutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of Airtame’s solutions, addressing customer needs and objections effectively.
Work closely with channel partners to identify sales opportunities, qualify leads, and drive revenue growth through effective pipeline management.
To be successful in this role, you have:
Minimum of 3+ years of combined experience in EDU Sales (both inside sales and field sales).
Experience from the AV industry, selling HW solutions - additional experience selling SW is a plus.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
You are located in the PST timezone and have the ability to travel within the West Territory as needed (around 30% of the time).
Compensation and Benefits Package
The compensation structure for this role includes a base salary + commission, ensuring that your efforts and achievements are well-compensated. The annual On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position range from $95,000 to $130,000.
