Our client โ an innovative, fast-growing edtech company using AI to transform how learning is assessed โ is looking for an EdTech Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in South Africa to help grow their presence in the US market.
This is a great opportunity for someone who's confident, proactive, and excited about making an impact in the world of tech and education.
What you'll be doing:
โ
Finding and qualifying potential leads in the U.S. (think schools, universities, edtech companies)
โ
Doing outbound outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) to get conversations started
โ
Booking meetings for the sales team and helping fill the pipeline
โ
Working closely with marketing to fine-tune messaging and campaigns
โ
Keeping things organized in the CRM and reporting on progress
Requirements
What we're looking for:
โจ Based in South Africa
โจ Strong English skills (written & verbal)
โจ Some experience in B2B sales, lead gen, or SDR work โ bonus points for SaaS or edtech
โจ Comfortable reaching out cold and building rapport quickly
โจ Driven, independent, and up for the challenge
โจ Familiar with tools like HubSpot or Salesforce? Even better!
