As a EMP manager, part of our EMP team, your mission is to contribute to maintaining and continuously improving our relationships with our partners and help coordinate on front-line marketing initiative for our extensive catalogue. You will support Trade Marketing activities for our Artist Services and Distribution departments with the promotion, process and coordination of artists and labels, with passion, innovation, care, and transparency.
Your duties will include but not limited to the following
- Maximize the visibility of our key artists and releases
- Work closely with the internal business team to identify our top-tier client, key artists and pitching priorities.
- Create timelines of project needs and key dates/deadlines with all Distribution and Artist Services, and oversee the timely delivery
- Propose marketing strategies for artist’s new release, tours or other promotion needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key DSPs
- Communicate daily with our contact from DSPs to ensure a smooth coordination, effectively deliver and present our release plan, and ensure everything is aligned with DSPs schedules and priorities.
- Stay informed on the latest trends, updates, and opportunities from DSPs to optimize our release strategies
- Manage social media marketing promotion to build a Believe brand
- Develop and implement creative ideas to increase brand visibility and engagement
- Design visually appealing and brand –aligned content for social posts
- Contribute to our EMP organization and performance
- Organization of roster and release calendar for Distribution and Artist Services
- Explore ways to further catalogue visibility
- Develop strong knowledge of playlisting and on-store promotion strategies
- Monitor local market practices - competitive initiatives and local market trends
- Reporting and Performance follow up:
- Deliver trade marketing reports to all teams, monitor KPI and analyze performances
- Regularly communicate status of all projects with a special focus on Artist Services projects to the EMP Leader
- Fluent English is mandatory to succeed in your role as part of a global company. French can be a plus
- You have a deep knowledge of the current music market landscape and trends
- Strong communication skills, EN/CN writing skills, a keen sense of aesthetics,
- Social media obsessed, demonstrated knowledge experience with social platforms and the ecosystem (Douyin, Red, Wechat, Tiktok, Bilibili etc.)
- You have the ability to work to deadlines and work under pressure, to be multi task and prioritise, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
You will report directly to the local EMP leader.
