ABOUT THE ROLE

The Editorial Coordinator will support the editorial team in ensuring operational efficiency and driving growth on Peloton’s owned editorial outlet, The Output. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills, a passion for all things fitness, health, and wellness, and a keen eye for what makes good content. They will be both eager learners and proactive self-starters with an interest in improving efficiency and function for our editorial team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing team of seasoned editors and content marketers building a growth engine. This role plays an integral part in the overall editorial strategy and execution and reports to the Senior Editorial Manager. 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON

  • Help manage day-to-day operations of The Output, including overseeing the internal and external editorial calendars and project management of stories through the production cycle
  • Maintain operational excellence of The Output by streamlining workflows and content creation processes to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
  • Support editorial team with administrative needs, including but not limited to conducting research, managing onboarding of new writers, invoicing, and assisting with monthly reporting
  • Assist with The Output Homepage update strategy to align with marketing tentpole moments and monthly editorial focus areas
  • Track spend toward monthly editorial budget to ensure team is maximizing resources and adhering to key financial goals
  • Build blog posts in a CMS, including sourcing on-brand imagery
  • Optimize existing content for search, using data-driven decision-making
  • Own article curation, A/B testing strategy, and reporting of Editorial team's inputs for the weekly Member "Your Weekly Picks" email
  • Own internal documentation ("Wiki") of CMS and ensure editors and other users are following guidelines as documented
  • Manage corporate contract with Getty Images and other vendors, as needed
  • Keep up to date on the latest research and trends in fitness and health, sharing articles of interest with the team

YOU BRING TO PELOTON

  • 2+ years of experience in an editorial or content management role at a consumer-facing media outlet or brand
  • BA in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field
  • Self starter and solution-oriented 
  • Strong organizational and communication skills as well as attention to detail
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Asana
  • Experience working in a CMS

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$62,000$80,700 USD
