The Role

As an EDC Integration Specialist, you will be a leading member of the Veeva CDMS Professional Services group. You’ll provide consulting and integration design to project teamsimplementing Veeva Vault CDMS solutions to companies in the life sciences industry. The EDC Integration Specialist will lead customer implementations by providing expertise in solution architecture design, technical integration design, and best practices. The EDC Integration Specialist is a customer advocate working closely with other Veeva teams (Services, Product, Sales, and Strategy) to ensure customer success today and in the future.

Opportunities are available across Europe for this role, which is a remote position based in the EU and requires travel within the region.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Vault EDC integrations, technical design, and Software as a Service (SaaS) implementation best practice
  • Design customer’s overall clinical data technology and integration landscape
  • Create EDC inbound and outbound integration specifications
  • Configure EDC-specific requirements for EDC inbound and outbound integrations
  • Support 3rd party vendors with Vault API-based integration implementation
  • Support customer’s integration UAT
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot cloud-based connections to other Veeva Development Cloud products
  • Contribute to our professional services knowledge base
  • Develop internal and external tools to help our customers and our consultants
  • Partner with other parts of the organization to deliver technical presentations to current and prospective customers to evangelize the value of Veeva’s solution
  • Mostly remote working with customer visits as required

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and business audiences
  • 3+ years experience with integration of EDC with other clinical systems such as IVRS/IRT, Safety, Labs, Imaging, eCOA/Pro, etc. in a customer-facing technical consulting role
  • Ability to demo and present complex technical solutions
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience with ETL tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience building solutions and interfaces in cloud, SaaS applications using
  • SOAP/REST/GraphQL/JasonPure APIs
  • Project Management experience for enterprise software implementations
  • Document/Data migration experience
  • Familiarity with CDISC, ODM and other data management industry standards
  • SaaS/Cloud experience in the delivery of clinical trials
  • Experience with source code control systems
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools such as Lambda and EC2
  • Fluency in more than one European language
