What you'll be doing...

Buying advice is one of the key areas on the Space.com website, and we are on the lookout for an experienced and knowledgeable writer to join our ecommerce team.

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the Ecommerce Writer is responsible for writing, and in some cases managing, buying advice. This includes comprehensive buying guides, product reviews, spotlight deals and regular updates to core pages. You will ensure content is written and that the content they produce all follow audience and ecommerce team guidance. You will also be responsible for:

• Update Buying Guides to the expected high standard of the brand.
• Follow advice from central teams around structure of Buying Guides.
• Discover and create content around deals.
• Uploading review content to the site from freelancers.
• Be an important contributor to ecommerce within the Space.com brand structure.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

• An interest and knowledge in all things space and optics.
• The ability to write good, clean copy about products and discounts.
• A good contact booked within consumer technology is advantageous.
• An understanding of the brands’ subject matter & associated audiences
• First-rate knowledge of editorial SEO and analytics packages
• Experience producing high-quality, engaging, relevant digital content

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath Office, working three days from the office, two from home
